MAGNET S2 — Threat Conditions

MAGCON Levels

MAGCON (MAGNET Condition) determines and communicates the overall threat environment affecting MAGNET operations. Levels range from 5 (Routine) to 1 (Critical / Imminent).

📢 When the MAGCON level changes, MAGNET S2 will notify all operators via Telegram, VarAC broadcast, and JS8Call. Monitor all three channels for updates.

Routine Green
Normal operations. No credible threat identified.
  • Background monitoring only
All comms permitted

Heightened Blue
Suspicious activity or trend noted. Verify and monitor.
  • Credible but unconfirmed intelligence
  • Increase in threat-related chatter
All comms permitted

Elevated Yellow
Specific threat possible against assets or personnel.
  • Verified intelligence
  • Arrests or disruptions
  • Localized unrest
General traffic limited

High Orange
Likely attack or disruption within area of interest.
  • Coordinated plots identified
  • Active riots
  • Cyber intrusions underway
Mission traffic only
1
Critical / Imminent Red
Attack or major incident occurring or imminent.
  • Shots fired or ongoing attack
  • Widespread system failure
