(LA) Donald Trump’s administration has drafted a proposal to deploy 1,000 Louisiana national guard troops to conduct law enforcement operations in the state’s urban centers. This comes just one week after President Donald Trump floated the idea of sending troops to New Orleans, specifically due to concerns of crime.
(TX) Uvalde schools will reopen Monday after a ransomware incident forced the school district to cancel classes this week. Over the weekend, the district announced that a ransomware attack disrupted several of its key technology systems, including its phones, air-conditioning controls, security camera monitoring and the Skyward platform it uses for payroll. It said the impacted systems are “crucial for the safety and security of our schools.”
